Social media 2.0 “How To Do It Right”
Some facts:
If facebook was a country by population it would be the third largest in the World – think about that for a minute….
Youtube has grown from 1 Billion to 2 Billion views a day…
This is NOT a fad!
The $$$ user spend on facebook and twitter is more than any other media.
It’s more powerful than advertising. Social Media is HUGE!
So, is it really possible to make a lot of $$$$$ using social media? YES!!
Can YOU make a lot of $$$$$? A great question.
More than one third of U.S. businesses have had success with social media.
52% have made $$$$$ Dell made $6M using just twitter!
Hewlet Packard got the top 5 pages of search engines and blogs to get an 85% sales increase on a 9 month old product!!
Just one guy made $5,6M from facebook alone for his online dating site!!
Social media makes money when you use it right.
There are 2 types of facebook approaches:
1 makes you money
1 makes you friends….
Therefore create Business Relationships – NOT friends!
People just don’t get it!
Separate your Business and personal Profile as Business is a totally different thing.
People would have to be crazy to follow and do business with anyone else but you, when you provide business information/Articles/Resources, 1 makes you money the other just makes you friends.
You don’t have to be lifeless and boring but DON’T expose all your personal [intimate] details!
Occasionally post carefully selected positive details – provide information = RIGHT THINGS.
NOT personal ‘fluff’ that business clients could care less about! [your health/mood/love-life etc]
BALANCE Selling to Information
90% Information
Many people IGNORE:
“Who makes up your audience and what the’re interested in directly determines your ability to sell”
Which would you rather have 500 who follow all you say or 5000 who ignore you?
Its where most people go wrong!!
Your post content defines who follows you.
DO’S DON’TS
Information Personal life
Expertise Religion
Help Fluffy stuff!
