The world watched in awe as Pippa Middleton walked gracefully down the aisle on Friday in her stunning Alexander McQueen bridesmaid dress bridesmaid dress . 

But as these photos show, Pippa's attempts at bridal style weren't always so chic.

Kate's Maid of Honour is set to gain yet more kudos as a fun-loving party girl thanks to photographs emerging of the MIddleton's second daughter wearing a bridal gown made out of loo
roll.

party some time ago, show Pippa gadding about dressed in swathes of toilet paper fashioned into a skimpy
wedding dress.

She kneels among the usual dinner party detritus, bottles of whiskey, gin and wine, half-full glasses and playing cards strewn about. Perhaps Pippa was fulfilling a forfeit having lost a game of cards, or perhaps, as has been suggested, she was playing a common hen party game where guests compete to create the best loo roll wedding gown.

Whatever the reason, the dress was not a patch on the stunning Alexander McQueen frock she wore for duties at Kate's Friday nuptials, although admirers of Pippa's physique will no doubt be impressed by its barely-there style.

The lengths of toilet roll are tightly wrapped around her slim figure, creating the kind of figure-hugging minidress one would expect to see on a TOWIE bride.

But slim, tanned Pippa, long dresses dubbed Britain's most eligible woman despite her serious relationship with boyfriend Alex Loudon, carries it off with typical aplomb.

Her spectacular, discreet performance at the Royal wedding has made Pippa Middleton one of the world's most talked about women.

A Facebook group set up in honour of her
derriere has close to 60,000 members, and Google searches on name saw an astronomical rise, with figures set to overtake the number of similar searches run on Kate.

But despite her flawless deportment at the wedding, the 27-year-old second daughter of Michael and Carole Middleton has something of a party girl image, thanks in part to the antics of her aristocratic in-crowd at Edinburgh University where she read English.

Since leaving university behind, Pippa has gone on to become close friends with the rest of the young royals and blue-blooded party set, counting Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Chelsy Davy and Holly Branson as chums.
