It is Election Year in the United States of America! It will be the 56th consecutive presidential election and a very peculiar one as the Democrats’ party race for the White House has elected the first woman to run for president; Mrs. Hillary Clinton; former US First Lady; and the first African American, former Illinois State Senator; Barack Obama.

American made history on Wednesday night by electing the first woman house speaker in its history. Also on a side note, the first Moslem congressman, Keith Ellison, was elected from Minnesota’s fifth congressional district. This is the end of Republican’s fiefdom in the Capitol Hill. Say Good bye to neocons and right-wingers’ visions of a one party dictatorial Government. The American people have spoken, notably the Democrats and the independents who were tired of all the lies, deceptions, and spins of Republican party.

The Democrats should not loose sight of how and why they reclaimed their rightful place in the history. It was painful and comical to watch the commentators of Sox News, claiming to be fair and balanced journalists. We will see how they perform in the upcoming days.
