Healthy Myths

Moms always try to prepare balanced diet for the whole family. I know that Moms are clever. Experts from Oxford and Liverpool universities have found that tiny changes in our daily diet will have dramatic impacts on our health. They estimate that if Britons eat one gram of salt fewer a day, 20,000 lives a year will be saved. You can have a healthy body if you add a piece of fruit and less saturated fat. As you can see, healthy myths are too simple to believe.

Except for balanced diet, sleep pattern is also very important. Sleep is the only way that our brains can get break. So we all know that we should not stay up late at night. Changing your sleep pattern suddenly has a dramatic effect on the hypothalamus part of your brain, responsible for balancing hormones which can trigger headaches. Then we are likely to suffer caffeine withdrawal after sleeping through your normal early morning cup of tea or coffee. So if you’re tired, have a nap later in the day.

After you eat well and sleep well, then you need to take some exercises. I think housework is a good exercise. On weekends, I will use leaf blower to clean my house or take care of my garden. I think it is much better to go shopping in the mall.
