Design

This circular shaped Foscarini Circus 07 lamp has its own characteristics. It consists of a blown polished glass diffuser of which the inner layers are white. The outer layers of some of the lamps are colored while there is one with white outer layer. Its centrally located button is made of metal and it is plated with nickel. Lit by four 40 watt incandescent bulbs this simple lamp is able to convert the bright light from the incandescent bulbs to white light that is very soft to the eye. The support of Foscarini Circus 07 is not visible as it is hidden inside the lamp. This lamp was designed by Define Koz in the year 1994 for Foscarini.

Illumination

Foscarini Circus 07 is good at illuminating rooms with soft white light. The diffused light hits the wall or the ceiling before being reflected to the rest of the room. When used for the illumination of large areas they are being used in pairs. As they do not occupy a lot of space, even in corridors it is not difficult to put several lamps to get better illumination.
